Man! I feel so gyped!! I usually hover around Fuller's imdb page every now and then to see what projects he is currently working on. I thought TUG was one of those small movies that only get played in certain theaters and then you gotta wait ages for it to come out on dvd (lol, like Vampire Clan). And I didn't think he was the lead role.
If only I had paid more attention. Haha. I saw TUG at my local library, got it, went straight home to watch it. So cute!! I think movies like Pay It Forward and all those are usually over-the-top with their messages of do-goodness but I really liked TUG's take on such a topic. It was great how Emily was so mean to Jason. And I really liked all the "tasks" Jason had to go through. I don't know about him getting captured and thrown in a hot box, though. Hahah. That sorta came out of nowhere and went nowhere... maybe if I read the book it would make more sense.
I suppose a scruffy guy look is always fun to juxtapose against the clean cut rich kid look.
Does anyone know if that movie was specifically religious? It seemed very hardcore Christian--I was just wondering what sect. Catholic? Protestant? Non-denominational?
