Well, now that I have seen again all the episodes, some question came in my mind: in "oh, my Goddes", Chris says he never met his family, but it's not completely true. Then he says he has arrived just in time to save Paige but, in "spin city" he said that in the future he would ask Paige some money (don't remember for what, but she answer "why, am I rich?")...

It's probably because the story isn't always written by the same person: that's why there are too many bloopers!

You can all do what I do: Say Chris was lying from the start, since he didn't want anyone to know who he was. But if you want a logical explanation, like Simo and Padmé said, there were a lot of writers, and Chris was only suppost to be on for a few episodes originally. But my crazy little explanation involves Chris inserting himself into events that he knew were going to happen, and making sure they happen, but giving them a little push in the right direction. And, of course, making sure Leo became an Elder, to get him out of the way.

also holly found out she was pregnant in the beginning of season 6 so they had to alter Chris's character then. If Holly hadn't gotten pregnant, who knows how his character would have turned out?

In the extra features of the 8th season dvds, one writer or producer says the wanted to create a character that come from the future but they don't know who he could have been. They initially thought of Wyatt, but they found too obvious. Then they discovered that Holly was pregnant and they had the idea of a 2nd son.
About "oh my goddes" I'm yet asking why Chris traped Leo in Valhalla: he just reached to become the withlighter of the sisters and Leo was just a "new" Elder, so why?
And I wonder if the Chris that come back again from the future in the 8th final knows that he was just come back another time, 'cause he's not the same Chris!

Time travel will do that to you. Give you a headache, I mean. Well, the reason, I think, that Chris trapped Leo in Valhalla, was to get Leo out of the way temporarily, so he could earn the sisters trust without Leo looking over his shoulder. Which is exactly what Leo did once he was rescued.

And though the Chris that came back in the 8th season finale technically should not have been the same one from season 6, he did seem to remember things that that Chris would know. But that was probably one of the many mistakes that the writers made.

Yeah because he knew where his grandfather was living still and things like that.

Could be, but I still think that Chris wanted suspicious Leo out of the way.

I don't think Leo was supposed to leave the show, but Brian was always waiting for them to get rid of Leo, since Leo was only supposed to be a recurring character, and it seemed like he wasn't coming back after season one. But they did bring him back, and I think Brian has been wondering when they were going to get rid of Leo, and wasn't sure from season to season if Leo was going to come back or not. Or something like that. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense. lol

And about Chris knowing where his grandfather lives, that's not really a contradiction. What is though, is that Chris remembers Grams. If Wyatt doesn't remember her, then they probably haven't summoned her since after, I'm guessing, their little sister's wiccaning. So technically, Chris shouldn't know her, but he did meet her in his other incarnation, when he time traveled back to save Wyatt. Again, am I making any sense? lol
