Jen - Those are some amazing pictures. And amazing fireworks as well. The ones I've seen aren't usually that pretty .

Simo - Great choice, I love the meaning behind it. I'm not a tattoo person, but I don't think one is that bad lol.. Can't wait to see pictures, I hope your diabetes will be stable again soon.

Ok...that's pretty scary but I'm still convinced this was not a coincidence...
Just a week ago on our play came Yuri, a new actor who'll substitute the lead male actor till august, 9th. He's really funny, nice and friendly and we had a lot of fun together. I even slept at his apartment once and that night I borrowed him my sweatshirt cause it was cold and that happened on Friday night.
He said he believes his presence there is a plan of his grandmother, who died some years ago, for some reason he doesn't know. And some signs made him believe more in this theory.
For example, in our play there is a character who uses tarots and while we were behind the scenes, the girl was playing with tarot cards and Yuri told her "stop. what card is that?" and it was the Papess (and he believes that was a clear sign of his grandma).
Now, what happened to me is really weird. I came back home with Yuri, he gave me a lift from there to a place next to the town I live. Till yesterday night I could still smell Yuri's perfume on my sweatshirt and I wore it yesterday and the night I came back home with him, too and the perfume was still there. Me and my friends went to the beach yesterday night and while we were coming back we had a little crash with the car, cause the car went straight into a rotatory.
No one of us was hurt, thanks to God but what is weird is that the crash was just 100 meters from where Yuri left me and right after that the smell on my shirt was gone, totally vanished...
That thing pretty freaked me out, but I haven't told Yuri yet...I just sent him a message telling him something weird happened...I'm not sure this is just a coincidence...

I went yesterday to the beach again, my parents are there and i wanted to surprise them. So i took the train without them knowing and come at the appartment saying "surprise". They were really happy to see me. We didn't do much, just went to the beachvolley and packed our bags because he left that day.

@simo: first off all thank god that no one got hurt in the crash. Second it's a strange thing. it can be a coincidence or not. but that with his grandma i don't understand so good. Is he seeing his grandma everywhere? And is he saying that it's because of his grandma that he is alive or at the play? i think probably play but who knows. I hope you can call him soon and that you can tell him what happened. It's strange that the perfume went away like that.

@chrissy: great that you had a great trip to there. It sounds like a wonderfull place. So I can't go with with you? No just joking ;-D That with the train isn't nice, i know that. I had that yesterday too. And i had that one time when i went to germany too. And that with the S-bahn is really bad for you. I hope it gets made soon.

well..actually both of them...he got saved from a car crash some years ago and he thinks it's because of his grandma...anyway he thinks he's there because of his grandma, she wanted him to be there...
i hope i can hear him soon, so we can talk about it...see what he thinks about...
the perfume thing, to be honest is what freaks me out the most...it went away all of a sudden...

edited to say: i heard him and he asked me if I was ok..I said that i'm just a bit shocked. he said "as u can see, i'm always by your side...". So, I'm even more sure this wasn't a coincidence...and I guess I'll add a Y to the tattoo..

@Chrissy: Wow! I'm glad you had so much fun!! Well, except for the sardine can passing for a train... lol And about taking me to your nice island... Someday you will get the chance. I'm sure of that... Don't know exactly when, but it will happen....

@Simo: Holy...! Wow! Thank God you are all right!! I'm glad no one got hurt in that accident! But that really is weird about your friend Yuri... The way the sent just left so suddenly... That actually sounds like something that would happen to me! lol Boys, the stories I could tell about the weird things that have happened to me and my friends! lol

@Jody: Wow, sounds like you had fun!! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself with your family! I wish I could have gone to the beach this weekend....


And, well, I'm back, too. I can't say my weekend was a success... Considering I have to keep half of what I made to pay for the new cards I'm getting.... Well, Friday was rather boring, even though that's when I sold the most cards. And of course, because of the wind, the fireworks where held off until Saturday night.... And they were the highlight of Saturday.... They were the best we've ever had in our region! I still have to go through my 176 pictures though.... lol But the rest of Saturday.... You know, one can only take so much country music..... I had the misfortune of having my table right across from the stage. And for some reason the performers seems to think we live in Nashville or something! All day they were playing hardcore country music! And blasting it so loud, I wanted to go pull the plug! Okay, maybe it wasn't all country, they did play a little Elvis.... But it was mostly country, and I had to listen to it for 10 hours! Well, 9, since I left for an hour for dinner... And it was sooooooo boring!! Sunday was a little better, well, not in the selling department, anyway, but Elvis, himself, showed up to entertain us! (Ok, it wasn't the real Elvis...) lol There was one guy who sang a little country, but it was lighter stuff, but for the most part, it was Elvis, and some other oldies... But still, I've never been so bored in my entire life!! And that's coming from someone who is always bored! And to think, my dad is wondering if we should do the fall fair in September too........ (Help!!!!)

Oh, it wasn't that big a success.... I can't exactly sell the cards at the price it costs me to buy them, otherwise I wouldn't make a cent... And I have to buy the cards first, and get the pictures I need developed, before I can sell them, so technically, I'm still in the hole. lol (Gotta love those start up costs...) lol I could use all I made to pay for them, it would get me out of the hole quicker, but I still need certain things to live... And over all, even if I didn't keep half to spend on me, I still wouldn't be able to pay fully for the cards I just ordered... (That's what my dad is for.... ) And besides, I only sold 20 cards, anyway...

I sell them at 4$ Canadian each....

Wow, I haven't been here in a couple of days and I missed so much !

Jen - Well, sorry to hear about the whole country music thing. I kinda know how you feel.. and I only had to listen to Santana for two hours. He isn't that bad, but two hours only guitar is just too much !
And I'm not sure I'm getting everything about the whole card selling/buying thing, but I'm sure it'll work out okay.
And oeh, be sure to post some more firework pics, cause I loved the previous ones !

Jody - To the beach again ? You lucky ducky ! But I'm glad to hear you had a nice time and that your parents enjoyed the suprise !

Simo - First of all, glad to hear nothing really bad happened in the car crash. And the perfume thing really is kind of spooky ! Love the tattoo idea btw !

As for me, I have been pretty busy recently.
I started working on Monday, still two weeks and one day to go.. Selling fish isn't the best job in the world, but it pays the bills so to speak. And I have some great plans for the next couple of weekends, which makes it all kind of worth it.
