ook...my birthday...
well, it has been so great...nothing really special, but a great day anyway. I spent the morning with my friends at course, offering them some biscuits and at 11 AM my great friend Angelo (the waiter) called me and asked me if I was going to the restaurant cause it was his day off from work. I told him to join me but he said he didn't want to go to lunch where he works on his day off so we arranged a meeting after lunch at the bar.
I went to restaurant and had a wonderful lunch and later I rang Angelo's cell to let him know I was going to the bar and we met. When he arrived we decided to go somewhere else and so we did it, we went to another bar, sat down and ordered some ice cream (which I paid) and later we ordered a coffee and a Prosecco wine glass which I was about to pay but he stopped me saying he was going to pay it...even if I didn't want to cause it was MY birthday..but he insisted!!!
We chatted a lot and lately my sister called and told me she was leaving so I had to go to her and he said he would have drive me to my sister's workplace.
When I got out of the car I said "thanks for the company!" and he answered "no...thank YOU for everything...". I was like . I just realized that I have one of the greatest friend in the world and our friendship is so fantastic and pure, cause there are no interests behind it...
Went back home and hung out with my friends..we went to see Netherlands - Italy and lately walked a bit...I was supposed to offer something to them, too but they didn't want anything so I came back to the pub where we saw the soccer match and drank a red wine glass while watching "Wherever you will go" on the megascreen....great way to end the day, huh?
