Hey... As I said I'm just back from my vacation... it was nice and I had a lot of fun, through the weather was not that good. It was cloudy all the time (except the first one and a half days) and two days it rained... But it was ok... I still enjoyed it. I really love this island (Usedom, Baltic Sea) it's like magic... as soon as you cross the bridge to the island you can forget everything and just relax and enjoy yourself... *smile* I've made some pictures. As soon as I got them back I'll scan some for you!

Now I try to chatch up with everything that's going on here... But seeing how much topics are "marked red" I'd say it'll take a while...

Ok... well... I have to sort things out in my head.... *lol*

The first day we spend in Zinnowitz, we spend it with unpacking, buying food and other little things like toilet-paper *wink* And then we went down to the beach...

The second day... what did we do the second day??? Oh yeah, we went to Bansin and went through the village and then along the beach... And later, back at Zinnowitz we went to the beach, too... until the clouds came up and it started to rain in the late afternoon.

On Monday... on Monday we went to Heringsdorf and walked around there in the village and at the beach... But the weather wasn't that good that day...

On Tuesday... what did we do on Tuesday...??? Oh yeah... we spend the day in Zinnowitz because we wanted to play Minigolf and eat at a nice restaurant there... Sadly both things had closed that day... *lol* So we walked around the village a little... and through the woods, too... And yes, of course we also visited the beach again...

On Wednesday it rained again... so we went to Trassenheide, because there is a butterfly-farm. There is a hall where you can go in where it's tropical warm and there are flying hundrets (or more I don't know) butterflies from tropical areas... They fly around your head and I even had one landing on my hand... it was really cool!

On Thursday we went to a place where the Island is really small. I'd say maybe 200 meters from one coast to the other... It's really nice there, not so much people... And it was really stormy that day so we had huge waves... BEAUTIFUL! But so cold, too... Brrrr... We had a wind of 7BF from the north and only about 5°C...

On Friday we went to Ahlbeck and walked along the Beach to Heringsdorf... Which was nice through also not much warmer then the other day... But I so loved to do that, and listening to the sound of the ocean...

Yeah and on Saturday we had to pack our things together again... We took our bags to the trainstation and then returned to the beach one last time befiore we left for home in the afternoon...

And all days I atwe Salmon... for lunch AND for dinner... *lol* I loved it!

I never get to go to places like that! Well, except for the two weeks in Morocco, followed by one week in L.A.....

Alright... I finally haver some picture for you from my vacation... The quallity isn't that good, because those are scans from non-digital photos... But I hope you'll like them anyway...

Those are pictures from the beach in Zinnowitz. The first was the first day... and the second was the last day... I guess

This one was at the beach in Bansin, the second day

Some butterflies from that butterfly-farm

This was on that extrem stormy day... compared to the pictures before those were really high waves...

This one, I guess it was Heringsdorf... it was on one of those stormy days and usually the water only came to where I put that arrow... so it was really story, as you can see...

This was on one of my last days where you can see how far the water came when it was so stormy (because it couldn't go back completely)

The butterfly garden looks great ! I can imagine it must be awesome to walk around there !

Wow! That looks like a really nice place! I'm jealous! Those are really nice pictures! On the first one, I'm like, "are those masked gulls?" lol My dad is really into birds, and has a book completely on seagulls, and I was looking in it last week. lol And those butterflies are really nice, too. I'm glad you enjoyed your time off. :wink:

Oh, don't worry about it. I'm not exactly an expert on European birds anyway. :wink:

I will work along with some italian actors who are really talented and great...I hope everything will be OK. i have a very small role, but I'm thrilled to be part of this educational....
Who knows? This could be the beginning....
