Way too many differences

The title could have been worded better but NEwayz... Is it just me or was there a lot of changes in Charmed (for lack of a better term) For Example:

When Chris first appeared he said that in his future paige was killed by the titans but then in Spin City he said that she was the one that he went to for money? What did he do? Summon her from the dead???? Then there's the thing about in the beginning of the series the book wasn't protected from evil but the couldn't leave the house then in the later seasons it was reversed. There were a couple others that i thought about but i forgot them now. LOL Typical me

This phenomenon occurs in most shows that run for long periods of time. Buffy was one of the biggest sinners in this department.

I've always written it off as new writers not bothering to do their research on the material. The continuity director should be responsible for this stuff. Either that or they should hire a die hard fan after the show is established to go over every script and tell them what they did wrong. :!:

In all fairness we can't expect anyone to know the show like we do. We could probably tell the cast things about their characters that they don't even know.

The slip with Paige and the money in the future was pretty bad.

Well...maybe it was an excuse to get the girls to fight the titans. And plus remember not only Chris but Wyatt also said that Paige told him something too. But yeah they can be bleh at times...

charmed can be so confusing sometimes becuase they change it ALL the time! it's annoying. by the way....at the beginning Drew Fuller is Chris Perry but then he wasn't? wut's that?

I always dismissed the Paige-being-killed-by-the-titans-thing as Chris just making it up to get them to fight the titans, but there is a * of alot of other things that make no sense throughout the series.

He uses his first and middle names cos it would be a bit of a giveaway if he gave them his real surname. Also, Drew was originally only cast for those 2 episodes at the end of season 5 so he wasn't necessarily intended to be Piper and Leo's son at that point, although I reckon the writers probably had it in their minds all along that his character would be central to the next season - why else would they give him a name beginning with P? (Mind you, Wyatt kind of broke that mould as he's Wyatt Matthew Halliwell, not a P in sight!!)

I know! I still wish that "Perry" was his first name same with Wyatt with the name like Phillip or something but its all good.

well i read somewhere that he was orginally going to be wyatt..from the future before hes turned evil...but then holly marie combs got pregnant so the writers thought it would be a good idea to give wyatt a little brother-chris...

I also read somewhere that he was originally supposed to be Paige's son but when Holly got pregnant everything shifted that way. Which if that's the case I am certainly glad it did so, since Chris being Wyatt's little brother was the best plotline of the whole 8 seasons as far as I'm concerned. But just my opinion.

*grinning* For me it was the only thing worth watching... *grinning*

But I heard something similar... Not that Chris was supposed to be Paige's son, but that he was supposed to be simple someone evil traing to gain advantage out of the charmed ones's trust... But then Holly got pregnant and woops... Chris became her son... That also answers the question why Chris didn't say a word about Wyatt in the finale of season 5, and why Leo had to return even after it looked like Chris had killed him at the end of that one...

You know, what you heard makes alot more sense. At the end of Season 5 Chris did seem alot more evil, I guess you'd say and then all of a sudden Season 6 comes on and we start seeing all kinds of hints that lean the other way.

If that is the case I am even happier that Holly got pregnant. If she hadn't they would have went with the original plotline, which would have been dissapointing, I'm sure.

Yeah but on the other hand... If Chris hadn't been Piper's son, he wouldn't have to be born at the end of season 6, and that means he maybe wouldn't have died and stayed a season longer... who knows...???

but i´m also glad he was piper´s and leo´s son that kinda made him more likeable to me.. cause he was suddenly kinda part of the family, you know what I mean??
