Well, but after he has revealed himself as a witch, he doesn't use them so much: for example, in the episode of the reality show, he went with Paige to save a witch and left her alone to fight with 3 demons

Blame the writers. I think they were so used to writing for the sisters, that they forgot that Chris was part witch, too.

Blame it on the writers since there are moren than just one and sometimes I have the feeling they don't really talk to each other about "their" episodes... But there is always a way to explain things in a way that makes it at least seem logical. *grinning*
So my explanation for this could be... hmmm...*thinking* Oh yes, of course. Chris doesn't belong to this time, and he just came to change one "little" thing - Wyatt. Maybe vaquishing a demon on his own would be too dangerous, looking at the big picture. But that's just my idea, maybe you'll have another one.

I'll go with Chrissy's since she was right on. Like he wanted to shield himself and since his secret was figured out he wanted to show a little bit of what he could do. I could imagine how he was during that episode of the sword. Imagine him fighting off demons and stuff. Too bad they didn't have Drew appear in that episode. Stupid writers.
